Grove E08: Anti-Two-Block switch relay acknowledgment signal missing

TR-514 · Troubleshooting
Check A2B sensor wiring, clean sensor contacts, verify relay operation, and inspect hook block sensor for damage or misalignment.
The Grove E08 error indicates the anti-two-block (A2B) system is not receiving proper acknowledgment signals from the relay circuit. This safety system prevents the hook block from contacting the boom head, which could cause catastrophic failure. Start by inspecting the A2B sensor mounted on the boom head for physical damage, proper alignment, and secure mounting. The sensor should maintain proper distance from the hook block's metal ball or weight.
